Koh Ker temple is one of the more remote, seldom visited temple complexes in the area, over 100km northern of Angkor built between 928 and 944 under King Jayavarman IV, and his son, Harshavarman II. This complex has many unique temples, although dominated by Prasat Thom.

Day 2 - ] Banteay Srei & Hidden temple gems

In the morning you will discover some greater temple sites. Travel across ancient reservoir (long since devoid of water), through pretty villages and rice paddies to Banteay Srei [AD967], some 37km from Siam reap. This beautiful pink sandstone temple is well - known for its intricate carvings, of which hardly any space is left untouched, and its perfect state of preservation.

On the the way back Visit the temple of Banteay Samre, built in a similar style to Angkor Wat. Take a walk along the old causeway and be welcomed by the stone lions and Naga balustrades, as the temple looms above.

PM: The Twisting Tree Roots of Ta Prohm temple , After you will enjoy Ta Prohm temple is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. This makes the “Tomb Raider Temple” one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples.

After then drive through the forest to lightly visited temple of Ta Nei. There is a reasonable chance of having this beautiful Angkor temples to your to explore. End the morning at Ta Keo temple, known as the “mountain with bronze peaks”, and admire its five-tired pyramid structure…

After your Angkor tour, you will be taken back to your hotel for refresh either drops off at pub-street end of services
Day 4 -] : Rural Scenes – Kulen Mountain

After breakfast drive on explore to the visit Sacred Kulen mountain, boasting fine river carvings and visit Cambodia's largest reclining Buddha, the river of Thousand - Lingas and the refreshing waterfalls is a tributary of the Siem Reap River (Steung Siem Reap), and the site is about 60kkm from Siem Reap, a little over an hour by car. Kulen Mountain highlights include the scenic waterfalls and pools, where it is possible to bathe, but the river is famous for its riverbed carvings of Hindu mythology, and particularly its many lingas, giving it the name Sahasralinga, or River of a Thousand Lingas. Kulen Mountain is best seen during and just after the wet season, when water flows over the lingas and other river carvings.

Day 5 - ]]Option]: Early Angkor Wat Sunrise and Exploration

Private excursion with your tour guide and driver
5.ooam:[Recommended start time for                              crowd avoidance]
                    [picked up from your hotel]

Angkor Wat sunrise and Exploration: Rising at the crack of dawn, we journey out to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world’s largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Build in the 12th century by King Suryavrman II; this is most famous temple at Angkor. We stay at Angkor Wat to enjoy a picnic breakfast. As the crowds return to their hotels, we venture into Angkor Wat to enjoy its magnificence in peace and quiet. We begin by unraveling the mysteries of bas – reliefs that tell of tales from Hindu mythology and of the glories of the Khmer empire.    Please take breakfast from hotel so that you have more time to explore the temple complex.

I would recommend visiting this temple in the morning instead because it is more peaceful, taking either a local breakfast or returning to the hotel for late breakfast.  After such an early start you can decide if you feel like exploring Siem Reap town in the mid-late morning, more temple sites or relax with a massage and swim before lunch.

PM: Tonle Sap Lake and Old market

By road to the great Tonle Sap Lake is the richest fresh water fishing ground in the world, a national treasure producing an ever-changing landscape. The communities that live around the margins of the lake cope with huge seasonal variations in water levels by building their homes on floating bamboo rafts or 30ft stilts. It is well worth the extra effort to get away from the touristy village of Chong Khneas to the more genuine stilted Villages - Kompong Kleang or Kompong Pluk  Fishing Village* [dependent on water levels] - for an understanding of contemporary lake life.

Old market and Artisans D'angkor

Explore the Old market for your typical souvenir shopping, selling all kinds of wonderful and exotic foodstuffs too. Whenever you are in the market for uniquely wrapped spices, hand- woven silk Ikats or Kromar - the Khmer fashion staple. Continue visit the Artisans D'angkor Centre, one the best work shops in town excellent quality sandstone, wood.

After your Angkor tour, you will be taken back to your hotel for refresh either drops off at pub-street end of services
